Yafea People Coordination Council in Aden stood yesterday on a number of important issues at the internal organizational level of the Council and the current developments relating to the sons of Yafea in Aden, including the blatant attacks on their private property by some individuals and groups who are against the law and the prevailing customs, without any right or even a right.

The meeting was chaired by Dr. Yousef Al-Quaiti, Deputy of Yafea People Coordination Council Officer in Aden, has devoted his extensive discussion and with responsibility and great attention to the serious developments that have emerged, witch the most recent of it was the aggressive acts against the Union Cement Company and the cement plant of the company in Bates, located in Bates region in Abyan governorate, and this company is one of the companies of the good businessman, the great person who passed away, Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Ysaii * whose son “Sheikh Mohammed Ali Al-Ysaii, take over the position of Chairman of its Board of Directors ……Who follows his father works in the field of humanitarian, relief and charitable works in general, as well as his unlimited support for the capital of Abyan province and its neighboring regions, and contributes greatly to help the governorate authorities by provide a generous support to many areas of its work, as well as its support to the citizens of those regions permanently and in all relation to their needs ……

All this support, it seems, was not enough for the people with illand hatred souls to be ashamed of themselves, to stop their damages and permanently expose to the property of the plant of the equipment, cement vans, cement, plant materials, employees buses and workers, and other things of the plant and company property.

The attacks of these groups reached the limit of shootings the plant and threating the administrators, engineers and employees. This things were repeated frequently, all of which were aimed to blackmailing the management of the factory and the company to obtain money. As these groups continued to target the plant, after if not finding who stop them and treat them on their criminal acts to  damage the plant and Alysaii company, it has reached the totals of criminality that closed the gates of the cement plant, and stop the work, in a behavior against the law and customs and attitudes, and this did not require reactions by those who relied on the leadership of the governorate and its security leadership and those who are responsible to provide the security and protect the national capital and private property and also the protection of the human soul of those employed in the plant from the attacks and threats of the gangs and group of crime in the governorate.

So what is happening today to the cement plant in Bates by the bullying groups is something that can only be considered as a stain on the forehead of all those who stop watching and hearing what the cement plant in Bates is suffering from of the attacks without moving to prevent it and to face who have done it, and we mean by this the people who the plant is under their responsibility, whether in the leadership of the governorate or its security with its various apparatus, the leadership of the directorates, and the various components of the civil society in Bates, Jaar, Zenjubar and the rest of the surroundings regions  of the plants ……

This and the Council has taken a number of procedures and practical steps that enables to restore things to normal, whether by addressing the responsible authorities in the governorates to do their rules assigned to them against this acts of the armed groups against the plant without any right except that they practice bullying for the purpose of extortion or obstructing the production of Unity Cement Plant, or by other appropriate methods, when the communication produces negative responses by those entities .The refore, the Council assigned a number of its members to implement the mechanism of practical steps without any hesitation.

Accordingly, the members of the Committee held an extraordinary meeting to examine the ways to carry out the tasks entrusted to them, and went out to the need to hold a public meeting with the sheikhs, dignitaries and the social figures of the tribes of Yafea to have a look at the subject of the attack as well as the appropriate practical exits and study with them ..This and in the framework of the next step of program and work steps the committee held today morning an interview with the leadership of Union Cement Plant represented by Sheikh Nasser Al-Kaldithe General Manager, In which discussed the plan of the state of the procedures and the appropriate practical steps and resulted in the meeting to approve the practical program prepared to achieve the goal and protect the rights and property of the people of Yafea, in front of them the investor Alasayi by the legal ways or other methods without hesitation or negligence
